FIRE DAMAGE RESTORATION - DUCT CLEANING
REMOVE SMOKE AND PARTICLES FROM YOUR AIR DUCTS
If you have experienced fire damage, duct cleaning may be needed to provide you with a healthier environment. During a fire, your ducts begin to collect smoke and other particles; these areas may need to be cleaned in order to get your home back to the way it was before the fire damage. This will provide a safer and healthy environment for you and your family when you can finally return home.
Our staff is highly qulified, and continuously trained in the latest methods for duct cleaning. We provide duct cleaning services for heat exchangers, condensate drain pans, fan motors, heating and cooling coils, air handling units, grilles and diffusers, air ducts, and registers. It’s very crucial to take action as fast as possible because delaying duct cleaning can lengthen the restoration process and allow for damage that may not be repairable. The faster we take action, the better chance you have at restoring your property and the contents inside.
Duct Cleaning Process:
- Protect carpet and household furnishings during cleaning
- Open access ports and doors to allow the entire system to be cleaned and inspected
- Use only soft-bristled brushes for fiberglass duct board and sheet metal ducts internally lined with fiber glass. Flex duct can also be cleaned using soft-bristled brushes or an air whip connected to an air compressor
- Use well-controlled brushing of duct surfaces in conjunction with contact vacuum cleaning to dislodge dust and other particles
- Use vacuum equipment that exhausts particles outside the home, or we may use High-Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) vacuuming equipment if the vacuum exhausts inside the home
- Remove, clean, and reinstall all registers and vents
- Take care to protect the duct work, including sealing and re-insulating any access holes our partner service provider may have made or used so they are airtight
